Camisola chestnut / Chestnut sweater

Aqui fica um dos projectos que terminei entre o Natal e passagem de ano, a Chestnut sweater:

Gostei muito do modelo, embora tenha precisado fazer bastantes ajustes – este molde é desenhado um pouco para o grande – talvez para dar um ar mais descontraído, mas eu gosto das minhas cavas a assentar no meu ombro. Se pretendem obter algo que vos sirva de  forma semelhante à minha camisola, eu alonguei o corpo em 5cm, acho que devo ter encurtado as mangas um pouco, mas o grosso das modificações foi no ombro – subi as cavas 1,5cm na peça das costas e 2,5 na frente, e tirei 3cm na largura do ombro.

São oferecidas 3 opções de abertura fechada por uma fita ou laço, eu optei pela primeira, e existe a opção de fazer uma camisola tipo sweater, com um cós na cintura e punhos, ou um top, com simples bainhas.

O tecido que usei é uma malhinha muito bonita da Feira dos Tecidos, cardada no interior, e para laço, usei um restinho de tecido azul marinho. Acho que as cores funcionam muito bem, mas infelizmente ficou um pouco pesado demais para fazer um laço.

One of the projects I  completed between Christmas and New Year’s Eve was my first Chestnut sweater:

I really like the pattern, even though I had to make a ton of modifications – this pattern is drafted to have a looser, more relaxed look, but I do like my armscye seams to fit at my shoulders. If you’re trying to get your sweater to fit somewhat like mine, I think I lengthened the body maybe by 5cm, and I might have shortened the sleeves as well, but most modifications were made at the shoulders, I raised the back shoulder by 1,5 cm and changed the slope, and the front by 2,5cm and also reduced the width of the shoulder on both pieces by 3cm.

The pattern includes 3 opening options, all closed by a bow or a bit of ribbon, I chose version A, and you could also make a sweater with waistband and cuffs, or a simple top with hems.

The fabric I chose is a fleece backed fine sweater knit, but I can’t really remember the composition, probably it’s just poly. For the bow I made it out of some navy chiffon remnants I had about, but it did come out a bit heavy to tie in a bow.
